Side A is one half of a newly built duplex in Englewood: a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with its own kitchen, dining area and living room, sleeping up to 8. It's decorated in soft coastal colors with warm wood tones, and Englewood Beach is about 13 minutes away by car.

INSIDE

The bedrooms have a king bed, a queen bed and two single beds, and a full-size sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more. Both bathrooms are full baths. The kitchen has an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, a drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster and blender, with coffee to get you started. There's a dining table, a TV in the living room, room-darkening shades in the bedrooms, a washer and dryer in the unit, central air and ceiling fans, Wifi and a place to work.

OUTSIDE

A private patio with outdoor furniture, a grassy backyard and a BBQ grill.

Beach gear is provided, so you can leave the chairs and umbrella at home.

Englewood East in Charlotte County, a quiet residential area just off State Road 776, about a 15-minute walk from Tringali Park. Englewood Beach and Stump Pass Beach State Park on Manasota Key are about 13 and 17 minutes away by car. Historic Dearborn Street, with its cafés and Thursday morning markets from October to May, is about 13 minutes away, and Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island, about 30 minutes south over a toll causeway, makes a good beach day trip.
