Holmes Beach Cottage on Anna Maria Island

This renovated cottage in central Holmes Beach is all on one level, with no stairs, bright island colors and room for six. A six-seat golf cart and a kayak come with the stay, the nearest Gulf beach access is a 10 to 12-minute walk, and restaurants, shops and the free island trolley are close by.

INSIDE

The main bedroom has a queen bed, a smart TV and its own bathroom with a tub. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin over a full, and the living room sofa pulls out into a full bed. The second bathroom, off the hallway, has a walk-in shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped: five-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender, drip coffee maker, cookware and dishes, plus a dining table. The living room has a smart TV, the wifi is fast, there's a spot to work, and a washer and dryer are in the home. Central air keeps it cool.

OUTSIDE

Front and back patios with lounge seating, an outdoor dining area and a propane BBQ grill. The backyard is private but not fully fenced. Guests can use bocce ball and shuffleboard courts, and the city park with pickleball, tennis and basketball courts, a playground and a boat ramp with a dock is a short walk away.

GOLF CART AND KAYAK

A six-seat golf cart is included and kept behind the home. It's the easy way to reach the beach, Anna Maria's Pine Avenue and Bradenton Beach. Keys are handed over once the cart paperwork is signed, and it goes back with a full tank. The kayak is yours to use as well, after signing a short waiver.

FOR THE BEACH

Beach chairs, an umbrella, a beach wagon and sand toys are here, so you can pack light.

TRAVELING WITH LITTLE ONES

High chair, pack 'n play, kids' dinnerware, children's books and toys, and board games.

PARKING

Free parking for two cars, behind the home only. Cars parked at the front can be ticketed or towed by the city.
