Venice Home with 3 Masters

A modern, single-level home on the south side of Venice where every bedroom has its own bathroom, so a family or a few couples can share the house and still have their own space. Venice, Caspersen and Nokomis beaches are about 10 minutes away by car, and restaurants, groceries and shops are just up the road.

INSIDE

The three bedrooms sit to one side of the open living area, so there's room to gather and room for privacy. Each has a queen bed with percale sheets, room-darkening shades and an ensuite bathroom, and there's a half bath for guests. A twin rollaway bed sleeps a seventh person.

The living room has a 75-inch TV. The dining table seats 6 to 8, with four more seats at the kitchen bar. The owners love to cook and have stocked the kitchen well: dishwasher, oven and stove, blender, drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster and baking sheets. There's a washer and dryer, central air, a desk for working and an ethernet connection.

OUTSIDE

Off the kitchen is a patio with a gas grill and outdoor seating, and a second patio has a bistro table for two. The yard was recently landscaped, with sun loungers and plenty of lawn for kicking a ball around. The yard is not fenced.

GETTING AROUND

Two adult bikes are in the garage, and we can add two children's bikes if you ask ahead. A bike path across the street leads west to Shamrock Park and Nature Center, with paved trails through the scrub.

FOR THE BEACH

Beach chairs, an umbrella, a beach cart and beach towels are provided, so there's no need to pack them.

TRAVELING WITH LITTLE ONES

Pack 'n play (on request), high chair, a crib mattress with bedding, children's dishes, plus toys, games and books.

PARKING

Room for one small car in the garage and three to four cars in the driveway. A boat or trailer can go in the driveway, depending on size. No street parking is allowed in the neighborhood.
